Cover for Life
Is your cat or dog covered for LIFE? Or does their cover CEASE
at
a pre-determined age?
With Ellenco....
Cover is for LIFE. that means once cover is commenced and as
long as cover is continuous, there is no CEASE date.
For the best rates and conditions ensure your cat is insured by
Ellenco prior to the age of five years or seven for dogs. Older
cats or dogs may commence dependent on age but extra conditions
and higher premiums do apply to pets who commence at an "older"
age. So it pays to get in early and get the best conditions and
price for the entire life of your pet.

De-sexing
(spaying/neutering)
Can you claim for the de-sexing operation for your cat or dog
(kitten or puppy)?. Responsible owners desex (spay/neuter) their
pets. Not only to prevent unwanted litters in a world already
full of unwanted pets. But also for the health and temperament
benefits it brings (see www/petsonthenet.co.nz/desex). This
operation alone can cost easily in excess of $100 depending on
whether it is for a cat or dog, male or female and also varies
form vet to vet. Ellenco pays up to 85% up to $120 to assist
with desexing (Premier plan)

dog?
Is your dog a breed now classified as "dangerous" ie Pitbull etc
and therefore denied the benefits of pet medical insurance

ALL breeds of dog. There is no exclusion based on breed. Please see

surgery plans, Base, Ultra and Premier. Please note some breeds
fall into the "Select Breeds" group. These are grouped together
generally due to their large size which means increased costs
for providing medical care, however NO breed is excluded.
