Absolutely Precious Paws are qualified, experienced New Zealand wide Dog Walkers and Vet nurses that provide Individual or Group dog walks. These walks are generally in the middle of the day. It's great if you are busy or your dog gets bored or anxious during the day or if they suffer from separation anxiety. Dogs may show they are bored or anxious by exhibiting a range of behaviours such as barking, digging, destroying things, escaping from the property. We recommend that if your dog shows a number of these behaviours you consult with a qualified Dog Trainer in addition to the regular daily walks and you can find links on our useful resources page.

Individual dog walking is great for dogs that need some basic dog training or need to go at their own pace, be that fast or slow.

Group dog walking is great for dogs that love the company of other dogs.

It may surprise you, but we are the only dog running service in Auckland and probably the only one in New Zealand!  

We understand that some dogs need a lot more exercise than a gentle stroll around the block, that's why we also offer the "Run e'm Ragged" service. You might have an overly energetic dog or just one you want to keep extra fit, let us take them for a long run and they will return tired, but very happy!

The InsideOut Project is a new dog walking service in Wellington and the Hutt Valley connecting dog owners that need someone to walk their dog with very capable and willing people with an intellectual disability.

We do this by providing you with a free no-obligation meet and greet with our team (disabled person + their support worker) to ensure both your piece of mind and dog’s routines are met with the best possible service.

As a social enterprise, when you use the InsideOut Project you are ensuring your dog is looked after with lots of TLC, as well as providing someone with an intellectual disability a meaningful opportunity to earn a small income and gain a greater sense of purpose. 

Our prices are very reasonable at $15 / half hour or $25 / hour (of which 33% can be claimed back from IRD as a donation).
