Description

Just wanted to let you know that Daisy has returned home after being missing for 14 weeks. She appeared in the back garden on Wednesday but when I approached her she ran off. Went out the back on Thursday but never saw her. Again on Friday I looked for her and there she was but once again she ran off.

On Sunday morning went out into the garden to feed the birds and she was sitting on the lawn chewing grass. When I spoke to her she meowed back. I took some food out to her and she was busy eating when something disturbed her and she ran off into the bushes. I just stayed in the garden and after about 10 minutes she appeared, allowed me to pick her and take her into the house where she has been ever since.

She is in really good condition so she has obviously been finding food. However, on Sunday she was very hungry and ate 2 bowls of food and then during the night she kept getting up to eat her biscuits.

I will never know where she has been for the past 14 weeks but I am so happy that she is home because at times I imagined all sorts of things might have happened to her.

Thanks for all your support and help over these weeks - it really kept my spirits up and the belief that Daisy would come home.
